With the release of version 5.0 software, Pulmonetic Systems continues to position the LTV Series as the ventilators of choice. The new software platform provides LTV 1000, 950 and 900 customers with expanded features for added convenience and improved patient care:

• High Rate Alarm alerts the operator when the Total Breath Rate (f) exceeds the set high breath rate and time period values. Available on the LTV 1000, 950 and 900.
• O2 Flush allows LTV 1000 users to elevate the delivered FIO2 to 100% for a preset period of time.
• O2 Cylinder Duration provides customers with the ability to monitor the approximate remaining usable time (in hours and minutes) of an external O2 Cylinder. Available on the LTV 1000.
• Automatic High O2 Switch Over generates an alarm, switches the ventilator to High Pressure O2 source mode and sets the percentage of oxygen to be delivered to 21% when the Low Pressure O2 source is selected but a High Pressure O2 source is attached to the LTV 1000.

In addition, all new LTV 1000 ventilators with version 5.0 software and a new higher pressure blender installed are capable of accommodating an O2 inlet pressure of 80 PSIG (5.5 bar).
